  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts (optional)
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar + 2 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a Bundt pan.
  2. Cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and baking powder.
  5. Alternate adding dry ingredients and sour cream into the wet mixture until combined.
  6. Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan, sprinkle with half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture, then add the remaining batter followed by more cinnamon-sugar. Swirl gently with a knife.
  7. Bake for about 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let cool for about 10 minutes before inverting onto a wire rack.
