  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts (optional)
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar + 2 tsp ground cinnamon (for swirling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your Bundt pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together butter and granulated sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well; stir in vanilla.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Gradually add dry ingredients and sour cream to the butter mixture, alternating until combined.
  4. Pour half of the batter into the prepared Bundt pan. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture over it and top with remaining batter. Gently swirl with a knife.
  5. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Cool in pan for about 10 minutes before inverting onto a wire rack.
