  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 large egg
  • ¼ cup breadcrumbs

  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ⅛ teaspoon black pepper
  • Vegetable oil or canola oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the corn by draining canned corn or thawing and patting dry frozen corn.
  2. In a bowl, whisk the egg until blended.
  3. Add flour, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper to the egg. Mix well.
  4. Combine prepared corn with the mixture until evenly coated.
