  • 1 lb whole mushrooms
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp ranch seasoning mix

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large pan to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Coat each mushroom in the flour mixture, dip into beaten eggs, and then coat with breadcrumbs.
  4. Fry mushrooms in batches for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Combine sour cream, mayonnaise, and ranch seasoning to prepare the dip.
  6. Serve hot with Cool Ranch dip on the side.
