- 15.25 ounces devil's food cake mix
- 3.4 ounce instant white chocolate pudding mix
- 2 cups cold milk
- Green and orange food coloring
- 8 ounces Cool Whip (thawed)
- 30 crushed Oreo cookies
- 4 Milano cookies (decorated)
- Additional Halloween-themed decorations (ghost peeps, candy pumpkins)
- Prepare the devil's food cake mix according to package instructions in a 9×13 pan. Let cool for 15 minutes.
- In a large bowl, mix pudding with cold milk until smooth. Divide into two bowls; color one green and one orange.
- Poke holes in the cooled cake using a wooden spoon handle, about an inch apart.
- Spoon alternating layers of green and orange pudding into each hole.
- Spread Cool Whip over the top of the cake.
- Sprinkle crushed Oreo cookies on top to resemble dirt.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
- Decorate with Milano cookies and other Halloween-themed treats.
