  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp melted coconut oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips (for the cookie dough)
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (for the topping)
  • 1 tsp coconut oil

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix almond flour, cashew butter, maple syrup, melted coconut oil, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined. Stir in chocolate chips.
  2. Line a cutting board with parchment paper and press the mixture into a 1/2-inch thick layer.
  3. Melt the topping chocolate by microwaving chocolate chips with coconut oil in intervals until smooth.
  4. Spread melted chocolate over the pressed cookie dough and sprinkle with flaky sea salt if desired.
