  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1/2 cup Onion, diced
  • 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1/4 cup Milk
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 2 cups Macaroni, uncooked
  • 2 cups Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 2 tbsp Flour
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Dry Mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix ground beef, diced onion, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, salt, and pepper. Press into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  3. Bake the meatloaf for about 20 minutes.
  4. While baking, cook macaroni according to package directions; drain.
  5. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter, add flour and whisk in milk until thickened. Stir in seasonings and cheese until melted.
  6. Combine macaroni with cheese sauce and pour over the meatloaf layer. Top with remaining cheese.
  7. Bake for an additional 25 minutes until golden brown.
