  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs

  • 2 cups peeled and diced apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 3/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cold cubed unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, cream softened butter and granulated sugar until fluffy.
  3. Beat in eggs one at a time along with vanilla extract. Combine well.
  4. Fold in diced apples and mascarpone until evenly distributed.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine oats, brown sugar, flour, and cold butter until crumbly.
  6. Pour batter into a greased springform pan and sprinkle crumble topping over it.
  7. Bake for about 1 hour and 15 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Allow to cool for at least 15 minutes before serving.
