- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 1/4 cups water
- butter or non-stick spray for the pan
- 2 pounds vanilla almond bark
- 34 pectin-based gummy candies

- Preheat your oven and prepare your baking pan with butter or non-stick spray.
- In a mixing bowl, combine chocolate cake mix, melted butter, eggs, and water. Mix until smooth.
- Bake according to package directions and let cool completely.
- Beat cream cheese until fluffy in another bowl; crumble cooled cake into the cream cheese and mix until combined.
- Form mixture into balls using a cookie scoop; place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and chill for at least 2 hours.
- Melt almond bark over low heat or in the microwave until smooth.
- Dip each chilled cake ball into the melted almond bark using two forks; allow excess to drip off.
- Decorate with gummy candies and candy eyes while still warm; pipe orange almond bark for spikes if desired.
- Chill again until set.
