  • 12 ounces linguine or fettuccine
  • 1/2 pound medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 pound turkey sausage, sliced into rounds
  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 small yellow onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
  2. Season shrimp and chicken with Cajun seasoning. Sear chicken in a skillet over medium-high heat until golden brown; set aside. Cook shrimp until pink; set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté turkey sausage until browned; remove from skillet.
  4. Sauté bell peppers and onion in the skillet until softened; add minced garlic and cook briefly.
  5. Create a roux by melting butter and whisking in flour until golden. Gradually whisk in chicken broth and heavy cream until smooth.
  6. Stir in Parmesan cheese and seasonings; simmer briefly before returning proteins and veggies to the skillet.
  7. Toss cooked pasta with sauce mixture until well coated; adjust thickness with reserved pasta water if needed.
  8. Serve garnished with fresh parsley, grated Parmesan cheese, and sliced green onions.
