  • 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup jelly or jam (any preferred flavor)

  2. In a mixing bowl, mash ripe bananas until smooth. Stir in peanut butter, sugar, melted butter, vanilla extract, and egg until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to wet ingredients until just combined.
  4. Pour half the batter into the prepared pan; dollop jelly over it and swirl gently. Add remaining batter on top and repeat with more jelly.
  5. Bake for about 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool before slicing.
