Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ounces softened cream cheese
  • 2 cups confectioners sugar
  • 1 ½ tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Neon green food coloring
  • ½ cup room temperature salted butter
  • ½ cup packed light brown sugar
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg (room temperature)
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup dark chocolate cocoa powder
  • 1 ⅔ cups all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Prepare the slime filling by mixing softened cream cheese, confectioners sugar, flour, and vanilla extract until smooth. Add neon green food coloring and set aside.
  2. In another bowl, cream together butter and sugars until fluffy. Mix in egg and milk, then add baking soda, cocoa powder, and vanilla. Gradually incorporate flour until dough is thick.
  3. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Scoop cookie dough, flatten it slightly, place a spoonful of slime filling in the center, wrap the dough around it, and roll into balls on a lined baking sheet.
  4. Bake for about 15 minutes or until firm but soft inside. Decorate with black gel food coloring and Halloween sprinkles once cooled.
