  • 1/4 cup soy sauce

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • Nori sheets (cut into halves or thirds)
  • 6 cups cooked sushi rice
  • Optional: furikake seasoning

Instructions

  1. Marinate your chicken by slicing it into 8-10 pieces and combining soy sauce, fruit juice, and sugar in a bag. Let it soak for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Cook the marinated chicken in a skillet over medium heat until crispy on both sides.
  3. Lay out a strip of nori on your work surface and place a musubi mold in the center.
  4. Fill the mold with sushi rice, pressing down firmly.
  5. Add the cooked chicken on top of the rice.
  6. Fold the nori over the filling like wrapping a gift, sealing with a little water if needed.
  7. Serve warm or store for later!
